We’re proud to announce that Tricoman Studios has been selected among the top 20 Serbian startups and scaleups to join the prestigious Katapult Accelerator, a program launched by the Innovation Fund of Serbia with the support of the World Bank and the European Union.
Participation in the program grants us access to non-dilutive co-investment of up to €280,000, alongside a tailored curriculum focused on startup growth, business strategy, and fundraising preparation.
Katapult: Fueling Growth Through Investment and Support
Katapult is Serbia’s flagship acceleration program aimed at helping high-potential startups grow and attract global investment. The co-investment support and grant structure provides a powerful funding boost, matching private capital raised by startups like ours with public funds—without requiring equity dilution.
But more than that, Katapult gives us access to a world-class network of mentors, VCs, and entrepreneurs, both within the gaming industry and beyond.
Expert Mentorship Backing Our Journey
We’ve been matched with lead mentor Maria Carolina Romero, an experienced startup advisor with a global track record in early-stage investing, product-market fit, and go-to-market readiness.
Supporting mentors include key leaders from the Serbian and global gaming scene:
- Adrian Djura – Co-founder of Eipix (acquired by Playrix) and studio head who helped bring Ubisoft to Serbia.
- Maria Ilić – Co-founder of Two Desperados and current board member at the Serbian Games Association (SGA).
- Nikola Mitić – Former General Manager of PlayStudios Europe and current COO at Superscale.
Their combined experience in studio scaling, IP growth, and global publishing brings crucial value to our strategic roadmap.
Strengthening Our Advisory Board
This milestone comes as we expand our advisory board with globally respected experts from the game industry:
- Jason Schklar – Founder of UX is Fine, helping elevate our user experience and product focus.
- Tim Campbell – Former exec at THQ and Gameforge, advising on publishing strategy and studio growth.
Their support reinforces our execution strategy as we raise our pre-seed round and build Godforged into a long-lasting RPG franchise.
What’s Next?
Katapult gives us more than resources—it gives us momentum. As we move toward our next funding milestone, we’re doubling down on community-driven development, cross-functional design, and strategic partnerships that reflect our belief: the next great RPG can come from a small, focused team with a global mindset.
We’re grateful for the trust placed in us by Katapult and its partners, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
